Grayscale Make-up

Old friend and talented photographer Sjoske Brackx asked me if I wanted to work with her as a make-up artist for her idea.

She wanted to do a black and white picture really bad but her teacher from photography school asked only for color.

So her idea was that maybe I could fake it to let it look like a black and white picture with make-up while it is actually in color.

A  little rebellious, I liked it.

 I actually wanted to experiment a little with color so I could show people that it was make up and not a black and white picture so we came up with the idea to making a crack in the face with color. A little bit of showing the future of black and white TV/ pictures, timetravel-ish.

I’m really happy with the results.

The model was Dianette Aguilar a really fun person to work with.
